The ArtChain Art Site of the Week

Each week (starting June 7, 2010) we will feature a website that we believe represents the best of web design for artists and art groups.

The ArtChain Art Site of the Week will feature artists, art groups, guilds, galleries and museums in the United States and Canada. (The Site of the Week will not include art information sites, forums, directories, suppliers, publications or related art business sites. )

Please submit your recommendations using the form below!

Criteria

Criteria used to select websites will include:

• Attractive presentation of the artist's or organization's work.
• Clear, clean and consistent site navigation.
• Technical correctness, including correct display on all major browsers.
• No requirements for 3rd-party browser plug-ins.
• Fast loading.
• Interesting or innovative features.

Sole Choice

The selection of sites for the ArtChain Site of the Week, including weighting of selection criteria, will be at the sole discretion of ArtChain owners and staff.

Apart from showcasing selected sites as the "Site of the Week," we will provide no other feedback or evaluation of art websites.

Suggest a Site

We will attempt to visit all sites suggested, but we cannot provide any feedback or review unless we select the site as the ArtChain Art Site of the Week.
